The photo mechanic is basically just a gimicky inventory system and mechanism for placing objects. However, since you place photographs but care about the location of the object within the photo, placing the objects can feel imprecise and some of the techniques such a double-jumping on springboards involve a lot of trial and error.Certainly not a bad game. Besides the photography, the rest of the controls are precise and responsive. There's no unskippable cutscenes or character animations that make your player unresponsive. This is basically a capable platformer but it's hard to justify buying this when you could have bought dustforce or super meat boy, which are slightly better platformers without the gimmicks.. @start was vey good but then it became boring :S. The basic concept is a very original and creative idea--capturing pieces of the game world in photos and then releasing them in intelligent ways to help the player solve puzzles. But the game is far too short, the levels generally consisting of one or two puzzles each. The story is dull and even the novel gameplay gets old after a while, and Snapshot ends up feeling like just one more platformer.. Snapshot is an easy but fun game to play. Very easy to play. There is no action into the game, it's about finding the right spot and mostly not so hard. The perfect game for children that like a challenge.
